I am a professional web developer and have been for the past 5 years. I enjoy coding to a high standard and using current W3C and Accessibility standards. Ensuring that any website or application will work perfectly on both new and old browser versions, as well as mobile technology such as PDA’s and mobile phones.
Building standards compliant websites is not only challenging, its also very satisfying to create something that will look and feel great no matter what browser or operating system you’re using.
Going to Conferences
Part of my role as a web developer is to keep up to date with the latest developments on the web, be it an article on a blog or a new release of software. I regularly attend web design and development conferences such as @media and dconstruct events to stay informed with the next generation of web building skills and tools. I love to learn and get excited about new technology.
I work very well on my own and also as part of a team. I am self motivated and enjoy my work.
